Heres a few things you can do when you are posting your art to DA!

1: Turn on your watermark!
This is very effect, because even if they download it, they can't remove the watermark without ruining the art itself. A Self made watermark works better, because you can put it as much as you like, over a wider spread of your art!

2: Turn the download option, Off!
This is just below the watermark option. While it might be harmless, it only makes it easier for someone else to use it for their CSS, desktop backgrounds, and anything else they want with it. Be sure to turn it off if you really want to halt it.

3: Use the Creative Commons!
This is very effect against DA art thieves! This also makes it easier when you report it to DA. Not only does it Copyright it on DA, but its a clear warning there will be after effects.

4: Get registered! [link]
Its only 30-40$ to register your art and copyright it! This is a step up from the CC, and this makes your art MUCH harder to take without police stepping in.
